Applications requiring temperatures up to 1530°C (2800°F) can use Thermcraft’s Hinged High Temperature Split Tube Furnaces. Our tube furnaces may be configured in single or multiple zones, with the option to operate vertically or horizontally. The heating components of the furnace are made of silicone carbide (SiC). Molybdenum disilicide heating components (MoSi2) and insulation rated for temperatures up to 1700°C (3092°F) can be used in the construction of higher temperature furnaces.
Many various thermal processes and industries, including heat treatment, ceramics, chemical processing, glass manufacture, and powder metallurgy, may be handled using a split tube furnace.
You may need degassing, drying, annealing, sublimation, tensile testing, graphitization, pyrolysis, and other processes in certain situations. You may also need inorganic or organic purification.
Because they may be made to function in a variety of environments, tube furnaces are adaptable to a wide range of operations. The design of the split tube furnace makes sure that different materials may be added and taken out without any problems.
