The hinged vertical lift door of the XSB box furnaces ensures that the hot door insulation is always faced away from the operator. When a door is opened, a door safety switch cuts off the heating elements’ electricity.
These furnaces make use of free radiating wire that is integrated into the body of the heater and FibercraftTM vacuum formed ceramic fiber heating components. The hearth plate, chamber threshold, heating components, and furnace chamber are all made to be readily changed if they wear out.
The furnace’s external surface temperature is intended to be kept to a minimum by creating an air gap between the outside of the heated chamber and the furnace outer surface.
