The XSB ashing furnaces are developed to offer the best possible conditions for test sample combustion. With its hinged vertical lift door, the heated door insulation is always kept out of the operator’s line of sight. When a door is opened, a door safety switch cuts off the heating elements’ electricity.

The heating components in these furnaces are wrapped wires, which are shielded by sturdy ceramic plates. The hearth plate, chamber threshold, heating components, and furnace chamber are all made to be readily changed if they wear out.

The furnace’s external surface temperature is intended to be kept to a minimum by creating an air gap between the outside of the heated chamber and the furnace outer surface.
